I lived at cedar square apartments from 2021-2024 when I moved in none of The appliances worked in my apartment. I had mice in my apartment and when I moved in, I had to clean it because of how dirty it was from the people they hired to clean it. over the years, the property deteriorated quite a bit there was always something breaking and last year they got rid of their best maintenance guy. They hired one guy who was OK but more worried about flirting with you than fixing your problems. Then the next guy they hired was absolutely awful. He didnât fix anything. I had cameras in my house and he was supposed to replace an air filter and he took the air filter out to put the new one in and noticed he had the wrong size so he put the old one back in and left the job. I talked to the property manager about it and she said that Cody said he replaced it. Well, I had evidence that that was not true. Things continue to get worse. The property became absolute horrid place to live cars getting stolen from the parking lot. They charge you rent and then an additional $127 worth of fees on top of your rent. They actually let me out of my lease because of all the issues I had at the apartments. Their rents are higher than most places that are bigger and newer. I absolutely hated living in the ghetto. I used a plumber that I met at cedar square at my new place and he said he is over at cedar square all the time. The side walk and parking lot flood anytime there is rain. See attached photos

I have been living at Cedar Square apartments for over 3 years now and they are great place to call home! Rebecca is always there to help you with everything you need. She will even come back to the property to fix a problem. Tonight she brought me her own air conditioner unit so that I could have a cool apartment for the night. She definitely goes above and beyond her job to make sure that the residents are taken care of. She is by far the best property manager I have ever had. If you are looking for a place to call home, I highly recommend Cedar Square Apartments. Everyone on staff makes you feel cared for and always ready to make sure that you are comfortable in your home.

Rebecca is probably the best property manager I have ever lived under. She is always willing to help and quick to resolve any issues that you may have. Even though my reviews have been negative about the property itself, I believe that Rebecca comes from a good place and wants to be able to accommodate residence and their needs.

My time at Cedar Square, although not as a tenant, has provided me with valuable insights into the world of property management. Having lived in various apartment complexes and even assisting in running one for a significant part of 2019, I've come to appreciate the importance of competent and compassionate staff. One of the highlights of my interactions at Cedar Square has been with Becca, the property manager. Her consistent kindness and professionalism, even during busy times, have left a lasting impression on me. In an industry where such qualities can be rare, Becca's approach sets a high standard. Moreover, I cannot overlook the invaluable contributions of the maintenance staff, Mike and Cody. They have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that my partner's apartment is not just functional but also a safe and comfortable living environment. Their dedication to their work and willingness to assist whenever needed have been truly commendable. In summary, Cedar Square's property management team, led by Becca, along with the exceptional maintenance staff, Mike and Cody, exemplify professionalism and a commitment to outstanding customer service. My experiences here have been nothing short of stellar, thanks to the efforts of these individuals.

I've tried to be understanding throughout this situation, but at this point I feel like my concerns are being minimized rather than addressed. I've lived here for years and have always maintained the required MSI renter's insurance. When management changed systems and insurance verification providers, I received one email requesting proof of coverage. I responded directly to Kelly and provided my insurance information, including my MSI policy that was set to auto-renew. Despite that, I was still charged an insurance fee on 5/27 without a phone call, follow-up, or any attempt to verify the information I had already provided. When I brought this to management's attention, I immediately resubmitted proof of coverage, including documentation showing my MSI policy renewed and my current renter's insurance attached to my car insurance that is valid for another six months. The response I received was that communication would be better next time. Respectfully, the issue isn't communicationâit's that a charge was applied that should never have been applied in the first place. What makes this more frustrating is that we've been patient, long-term tenants. We've dealt with a flooded unit, questionable repairs, maintenance issues that were never fully addressed, and an apartment that clearly wasn't properly turned over before we moved in. We were also automatically enrolled in credit reporting without any discussion or authorization. Time and again, the response has simply been "I'm sorry." I work in commercial leasing, so I understand mistakes happen. However, when they do, ownership should be taken and the issue should be corrected. We've consistently paid our rent, respected the community, and been good tenants. That's why it's disappointing to hear that management "can't promise" a credit will be issued for a charge that should never have occurred. At this point, it's no longer about the amount of moneyâit's about principle and feeling respected as residents. We pay nearly $2,000 per month for an outdated unit while continuing to overlook issues that would have prompted many tenants to leave long ago. I'm hopeful this situation will be made right and that this feedback leads to meaningful improvements. However, based on our experience so far, I'm not particularly optimistic. Attached are just a few photos showing some of the conditions we moved into. I'm happy to provide the rest, and videos if needed. Please do better.

Omg! I just have to catch everyone up on some of the awesome people at Cedar. Honestly the staff is why I have stayed going on 3+ years. Most recently I want to give a shout to the office staff. Becca! You are a Saint. I know how rough it can get but you stay calm and cool. Thank you so much for the amazing help you have been finding me a bigger unit in our complex. You were special thoughtful in thinking about my needing a ground floor because I can't physically do stairs. You are also helping me transition out of the old and into the new with all my thousands of questions. Please know what you do matters :) hell yes I recommend ð
